PURPOSE: An automatic cleaner switch system of a reversible belt conveyor is provided to prevent breakdown of a cleaner and to minimize wear of a belt conveyor by selectively combining the cleaner in the direction of loading materials according to a rotational direction of the belt conveyor. CONSTITUTION: An automatic cleaner switch system of a reversible belt conveyor(4) is composed of a movable unit(20) for contacting or separating a cleaner(8) and a control unit(30) for receiving a motion signal from a driving motor of the belt conveyor, operating a solenoid valve(32) through a control panel(31), and sending the air generated from an air compressor(33) to a cylinder(24,24a). A right cleaner rotates counterclockwise by pushing a cylinder shaft of the right cylinder with the air and the reversible belt conveyor closely contacts to a tail pulley(7b). Accordingly, the material remaining on the surface of a belt is swept away.
