PURPOSE: A LAN construction method for increasing an Internet rate is provided to reduce installation costs by installing a LAN cable by using an existing installed garbage pit. CONSTITUTION: An optical communication cable(40) is led in so as to be positioned at a communication room existing at a certain position of a large apartment complex or a building. The optical cable(40) is branched so as to be positioned at every apartment building. The optical cable(40) is led in so as to be positioned at a basement of each apartment building. A label 3 switch(50) is connected to the optical cable(40). After being connected with the label 3 switch(50), the optical cable(40) is branched so as to be connected with a LAN switch(60) and a branched optical cable is installed in a vertical line in each apartment building. A LAN cable(70) is installed so to be connected with PCs(30) of houses in the vertical line of each apartment building, to allow the use of the Internet.
