METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY CHECKING LEAK OF WHEEL RIM OF VEHICLE CAPABLE OF IMPROVING CHECKING EFFICIENCY AND REDUCING INSPECTION DEFECT

PURPOSE: A method for automatically checking a leak of a wheel rim of a vehicle is provided to improve a checking efficiency and to reduce an inspection defect by checking the leak of the wheel rim by analyzing images on a wheel rim through a predetermined program. CONSTITUTION: A method for automatically checking a leak of a wheel rim of a vehicle includes a step of injecting pressured air into an inside of a sealed wheel(S20). A checking liquid is coated on a wheel rim while the wheel is being rotated with a predetermined speed(S22). A camera photographs the wheel rim with a predetermined speed(S24). A checking window is established at a special region of all images inputted by the camera(S26). Brightness for each pixel in the checking window is confirmed in order to determine whether or not the number of pixels having brightness above a reference brightness level is higher than a reference number(S28,S30).
