PURPOSE: A tong crane having an arm interval adjustment function is provided to adjust the interval between arms correspondently to the length of slabs to be carried and to adjust the direction of the arms correspondently to the direction of the slabs. CONSTITUTION: A tong crane having an arm interval adjustment function includes a main beam(60) suspended to an overhead traveling crane; an auxiliary beam(30) arranged to the lower part of the main beam parallel to the main beam; sliders(50) mounted to the sides of the main beam; arm connection supports(20) mounted to the sides of the auxiliary beam; and arms. The slider moves in the longitudinal direction of the main beam. The arm connection support moves in the longitudinal direction of the auxiliary beam. The central part of the arm is rotatably mounted to the arm connection support. The upper end of the arm is rotatably mounted to the slider via a link rod(40).
