PURPOSE: A method and a system for applying the GIS(Geographic Information System) using a composite projection method to multiple working zones, and a recording medium storing a program including the same are provided to overcome accuracy insufficiency and effective range restriction of a GIS application system using a single projection method by using the composite projection method. CONSTITUTION: A working zone definer(300) defines a target working zone based on the GIS data of the first coordinate system. A map converter(400) converts the GIS data of the first coordinate system into the same of the second coordinate system. An individual analyzer(500) generates an individual analysis result map of the first coordinate system by performing an individual analysis for the zone included in the target working zone. A composite analyzer(600) performs a composite analysis for the target working zone by using the individual analysis result map and generates a composite analysis result map having the same coordinate system as the individual analysis result map. A display(700) displays by mapping/overlapping the GIS data, and the individual and the composite analysis result maps to screen coordinates.
