METHOD FOR IMPROVING A MOBILE AD-HOC NETWORK, ESPECIALLY CONCERNED WITH LOCALLY COMPOSING A TEMPORARY NETWORK IN CASE THAT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO USE AN EXISTING INFRASTRUCTURE OR IN ORDER TO EFFICIENTLY USE COMMUNICATION BANDS

PURPOSE: A method for improving an MANET(Mobile Ad-hoc NETwork) is provided to find out a path for an on-demand node and to minimize the cost expended in the process of path setup. CONSTITUTION: A user node requests a necessary path for communication(S701). In case that a desired destination node is in the range of the user node's management zone(S702), the user node transfers a packet to the destination node using an IARP(Intrazone Routing Protocol)(S703). Afterwards, the user node and the destination node update the available resource values stored in their respective IARP routing tables, based on the amount of available resources(S704). Meanwhile, if the destination node is out of the user node's management zone, the user node transfers a route request packet through a BRP(Broadcast Routing Protocol)(S705). The path node that delivers the route request packet subtracts the available resource value of the path node from the request resource value requested by the route request packet and judges whether the subtracted value is smaller than 0(S706). In case that the subtracted value is smaller than 0, the path node forwards the route request packet any more, marks a route response packet with 'QoS failed', and transmits it to the user node(S707).
