PURPOSE: A method for minimizing errors in measuring voltage or current during charge/discharge cycles of a secondary battery with a charging/discharging device is provided to measure the voltage and current correctly and to give a secondary battery having improved charge/discharge quality. CONSTITUTION: The method for minimizing errors in measuring voltage or current during charge/discharge cycles of a secondary battery with a charging/discharging device(100) having a plurality of channels(110-114) including a charging/discharging circuit for a secondary battery, comprises the steps of: (a) setting a measuring cycle(Ts) needed for measuring voltage and current once in the whole channels (110-114); (b) calculating a replying cycle(T) of the AC frequency component of the voltage or current; (c) calculating the number of measuring cycles(Ts/T) to obtain the nearest integer value; (d) setting the number of measurements to be averaged for determining the voltage and current for each channel; (e) calculating a delayed time(delta T) defined by T/N; and (f) calculating T X (Ts/T), followed by addition or subtraction of the delta T, and then performing measurement by using the corrected measuring cycle.
