PURPOSE: An electric lamp having an external bulb and a support body combined with the external bulb is provided to easily fix a getter inside the external bulb using a support strip at a low cost. CONSTITUTION: An electric lamp includes an external bulb(12), an internal tube located inside the external bulb, and a discharge tube. The discharge tube is fixed inside the external bulb by a frame. A getter material is placed on a support body placed in the external bulb. The support body includes a support strip(31). The support strip is flexible such that the strip is automatically fixed to the external bulb without using supplementary means.
