HOOD STAY ROD PROTECTOR FOR PREVENTING A HOOD STAY ROD FROM SEPARATING BY A VERTICAL HOLE INSERTED WITH A HANGING UNIT OF A HOOD STAY ROD TO SUPPORT A HOOD PANEL OF AN ENGINE

PURPOSE: A hood stay rod protector for preventing a hood stay rod from separating is provided to hold the hood stay rod in a vertical hole even if the inserted hood stay rod moves downward by vibration of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A hood stay rod protector(30) is fixed in an engine hood panel and inserted and received with a hanging unit(11) extended horizontally at an upper end of a hood stay rod(10) to keep the engine hood panel open by the hood stay rod. The hood stay rod protector is composed of a rear side(32) inserted and fastened in the engine hood panel; a front side(31) separated from the rear side at the predetermined gap to form a space for receiving the hanging unit of the hood stay rod; and an insertion unit having a horizontal hole(340) formed transversely on the front side and a vertical hole(341) formed perpendicularly about the horizontal hole at the side of the horizontal hole.
