DEVICE FOR TREATING UNPRESSED PARTS OF SCRAP COIL TO PROTECT WORKERS FROM SAFETY ACCIDENT AND ENABLE THE UNPRESSED PARTS TO BE TREATED EFFECTIVELY

PURPOSE: To provide a device for treating unpressed parts of scrap coil, which protects workers who treat unpressed parts of scrap coil generated before and after cold rolling from safety accident and performs treatment operation of the unpressed parts more efficiently. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises a base(25) at a front part of which an insertion part(25a) is formed so that the insertion part is withdrawn after treating the unpressed parts by inserting the insertion part into inner diameter(21a) of a scrap coil(21) rested on a skid(23); a base moving means(27) mounted on one side of the base to insert the insertion part of the base into the inner diameter of the coil and draw out the insertion part from the coil after treating the unpressed parts; an upper plate(29) which is opened from the base during inserting and withdrawing of the base insertion part and closed during completion of withdrawing of the base insertion part on the base moved by the base moving means, and which is equipped with a bonnet(29a) in such a way that the bonnet is closely adhered to outer diameter(21b) of the coil together with the base insertion part closely adhered to the inner diameter of the coil so that the upper plate is mounted on the upper side of the base such that the upper plate is opened or closed; an upper plate opening and closing means(31) interposed between the upper plate and the base to open and close the upper plate from the base; and a welding means(33) installed oppositely to the bonnet of the upper plate operated by the upper plate opening and closing means and the insertion part of the base operated by the base moving means.
