METHOD FOR INFORMING OF A POSITION OF A PARKED CAR, PARTICULARLY FOR INFORMING ABOUT WHERE A CAR IS PARKED BY DETECTING A POSITION OF THE PARKED CAR BY USING A GPS CHIP MOUNTED IN A MOBILE PHONE

摘要

PURPOSE: A method for announcing a position of a parked car is provided to allow a user to easily find a parked car without incurring an extra cost by using a GPS chip mounted in a mobile phone. CONSTITUTION: When a car of a user enters an entrance of a parking lot, the user presses a certain key of a mobile phone to set an IrDA(Infrared Data Association) communication mode to transmit car information to a parking management system(SA1,SA2). The mobile phone receives geographical information of the parking lot from the parking management system through the IrDA communication(SA3,SA4). After exchanging required information with the parking management system, the car enters the parking lot and is parked, and at this time, a currently parked position of the car is detected by using a GPS chip installed in the mobile phone and the position information is stored in a memory(SA5,SA6).
