PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for automatically throwing the optimum quantity of water treatment chemical for water purification plant correspondingly to an inflow quantity of raw water by measuring a quantity of raw water that flows in a water purification plant. CONSTITUTION: In an ordinary throwing apparatus of water treatment chemical for water purification plant comprises a water supply pipe(1) through which raw water flows in a water purification plant; a flow meter(2) installed on the water supply pipe; and a pump (4) for supplying chemical of a water treatment chemical storage tank(3) to the water supply pipe, the automatic throwing apparatus of water treatment chemical for water purification plant comprises a pointer rotation sensor(5) for sensing rotation of a pointer of the flow meter installed on the water supply pipe; a setting button(6) for setting an injection quantity of water treatment chemical corresponding to an inflow quantity of raw water; an operation part(7) for generating output to a driving part(8) when a set quantity of raw water flows in by comparing output of the pointer rotation sensor with a value inputted by the setting button; and an electric pump(4) operated by output of the driving part.
