Slub yarn having split slub and a method for preparing the slub yarn

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of slub yarn is characterized by supplying effect yarn uncontinuously to have no effect yarn on parts except slub, increasing decorative effect and being capable of dyeing the slub yarn and base yarn with different colors. The slub yarn is characterized by having uneven thickness to have visual effect and having beautiful appearance. CONSTITUTION: Slub yarn comprises base yarn and effect yarn. Slub is made out of the effect yarn. The effect yarn exists on only slub part. The slub yarn is obtained by the steps of: supplying the base yarn continuously; supplying roving for the effect yarn uncontinuously; and then twisting the base yarn and the effect yarn together.
