Automatic Shape Cognition Apparatus And Method For System Board

摘要

PURPOSE: A device and a method for automatically recognizing a figure of a system board are provided to automatically recognize figure information including location information of a board in a system by using a BSP(Boundary Scan Path) method for testing assemblage of a function board mounted in the system. CONSTITUTION: A BSP detector(23) analyzes/transfers an ID code register value of the boards in the system and reports the location information to an upper main board by including the location information received from a backplane board to the fixed board figure information. A CPU(22) compares the ID code register analysis information received from the BSP detector with the previously stored figure information and transfers the fixed board figure information to the BSP detector as a result. A memory(21) fuses firmware for operating the CPU and stores the previously defined figure information for the boards in the system.
