THERMOCHROMIC GOLF BALL REVERSIBLY CHANGING FROM INITIAL WHITE COLOR TO DIFFERENT COLOR ACCORDING TO CHANGE IN TEMPERATURE

PURPOSE: A thermochromic golf ball is provided which reversibly changes from an initial white color to a different color according to a change in the temperature of the ball, thereby enabling a player to easily discriminate his/her own ball from other's without violating play rules, offering increased visibility of the ball from a great distance to thus greatly reduce the risk of loss for balls, and enhancing players' pleasure in playing. CONSTITUTION: The golf ball(1) comprises: a core(2); a cover layer(3) enclosing the core(2); a transparent pigment layer(4) applied on the cover layer(3); and a plurality of dimples(5) provided on the outer surface of the cover layer(3). The cover layer(3) or the transparent pigment layer(4) contains an effective amount of a thermochromic compound.
