BACK LIGHT ASSEMBLY AND LCD DEVICE HAVING THE SAME FOR SIMPLIFYING ASSEMBLY PROCESS AND IMPROVING ASSEMBLY QUALITY

PURPOSE: A back light assembly is provided to simplify assembly process steps while improving assembly quality by sequentially receiving elements in a bottom chassis and to uniformly maintain luminance of light emitted from lamps by forming a receiving groove at the bottom of the bottom chassis. CONSTITUTION: A back light assembly(200) includes lamps, fixed plates(220,230), receiving members(250,260), and cover members(270,280). Each lamp includes a tube and outer electrodes formed to surround the outside of the tube. The lamp is defined by a first region provided with the outer electrode and a second region positioned adjacent to the first region, emitting light. The fixed plates are fixed to the lamps at the first region and are electrically connected with the outer electrodes. The receiving members include bottom planes and sidewalls extended from the bottom planes. The receiving members receive the fixed plate and the lamps on the bottom planes. The cover members include first cover planes engaged with the bottom planes, and second cover planes extended from the first cover planes and engaged with upper ends of the sidewalls. The cover members face the receiving members and cover the first region of the lamps.
