METHOD OF SETTING SPEAKERS FOR PREVENTING SPEAKER SETTING ERRORS

PURPOSE: A method of setting speakers for audio amplifier is provided to change adaptively a setup state of an audio amplifier according to a size of a speaker by applying a reference signal to the speaker and referring to a response signal of the speaker corresponding to the reference signal. CONSTITUTION: A reference signal is applied to a speaker in order to detect the size of the speaker connected to an audio amplifier. A present setup state is changed to a setup state corresponding to the size of the speaker by referring to a response signal corresponding to the reference signal(S30-S32). The size of the speaker is determined by detecting a waveform of the response signal.
