METHOD AND AN APPARATUS FOR DISCRIMINATING CAPTION TYPES ON THE BASIS OF PLURAL DIFFERENT CAPTION COMMANDS REGISTERED TO AN OBJECT COMMAND WORD LIST

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for discriminating caption types are provided to sequentially compare a caption command with plural different caption commands registered to an object command word list, thereby discriminating, displaying and notifying the caption types. CONSTITUTION: A control member extracts caption data among the transmitted data(S401). The extracted caption data are assembled so that a meaningful caption command is constructed(S402). The control member discriminates whether the constructed caption command is the same as the Korean language caption command registered to an object command list stored to a memory(S403). When the constructed caption command is the Korean language caption command, the control member displays a Korean language caption confirmation message through a display member(S404). When the constructed caption command is the English language caption command, the control member displays an English language caption confirmation message through the display member(S405).
