PURPOSE: To provide a system capable of removing ammonia from leachate generated from industrial waste landfill that is short of organic components and removing nitrogen contained in wastewater from wastewater using characteristics occurred in some of wastewater. CONSTITUTION: The system for removing ammonia in wastewater comprises a chemical treatment vessel(11) on an upper part of which an inflow line(10) is installed, and in which wastewater is treated by chemicals to remove ammonia from wastewater; a chemical injection part comprising a chemical tank(20) containing alkaline chemical, a chemical injection line(21) installed on the chemical tank and extended to the chemical treatment vessel, an injection pump(22) installed on the chemical injection line, and a pH sensor(23) installed in the chemical treatment vessel to control operation of the pump by detecting pH of wastewater; a degassing part comprising an air ejector(31) communicated with an outflow line(30) connected to the chemical treatment vessel to eject a mixture of treated water and air, and a supply water separator(32) for exhausting gas to the upper side and discharging liquid to the lower side by separating the air mixed wastewater ejected from the air ejector into liquid and air; a return tank(40) for returning treated water discharged from the supply water separator to the chemical treatment vessel again; a treatment tank(41) for discharging treated water to the outside; a catchment tank(42) installed under the supply water separator to send treated water passing through the supply water separator to the return tank or the treatment tank according to concentration of the treated water; and an ammonia concentration sensor(43) for detecting ammonia concentration of treated water of the catchment tank.
