CPP SPIN-VALVE ELEMENT, PARTICULARLY CONCERNED WITH GENERATING HIGH-POWER SIGNALS AT LOW CURRENT WITH HIGH RESISTANCE

PURPOSE: A CPP(Current Perpendicular-to-the-Plane) spin-valve element is provided to generate high-power signals at low current with high resistance, and to apply a lower current, thereby obtaining a substantially higher power with better performance. CONSTITUTION: Elements(71,71',72,72') are in a magnetic layer structure, and one of the elements(71,71',72,72') has a free layer while the other one of the elements(71,71',72,72') has a pinned layer comprising a conductive space layer structure(73) and two CC(Current Confining)-layer structures(74,74'). Each of the CC-layer structures(74,74') increases the overall resistance of a spin-valve element, and obtains a high-power voltage when a reasonable amount of current is applied to the spin-valve element.
