PURPOSE: A self-boosting cylinder is provided to gain and use energy by amplifying force with plural cylinders without using the small motor, the pump, the tank, the pipe and the direction change valve. CONSTITUTION: A self-boosting cylinder is composed of a main hydraulic cylinder(10) and four auxiliary hydraulic cylinders(11) applying pressure to a piston(16) of the main hydraulic cylinder. The main hydraulic cylinder is composed of four oil inlets and outlets for moving back and forth. Piston rods(13) of the auxiliary hydraulic cylinders are moved forward, and a piston rod(12) of the main hydraulic cylinder is moved backward. Pressure is applied to the piston of the main hydraulic cylinder by flowing fluid into the auxiliary hydraulic cylinders in operating the pistons of the auxiliary hydraulic cylinders. Convex and concave parts are formed alternately in the piston surface of the main hydraulic cylinder to boost force.
