PURPOSE: A method of making a snack food containing fruit powder by slicing and blanching bulbs and tubers, frying in oil, soaking in sugar solutions and then seasoning with fruit powder is provided. The product has enhanced external appearance, aesthetic sense, shelf life, functionality and the like. CONSTITUTION: Bulbs and tubers containing garlic, Platycodi Radix, Codonopsis lanceolata and Ginseng Radix and mushrooms containing Lentinus edodes, Pleurotus ostreatus and Pleurotus eryngii are washed, sliced with a vegetable cutter and blanched, followed by removing moisture from the surface to a moisture content of 20% or less. Then, they are soaked in sugar solutions for 2 to 3hr, freeze dried to -20 to -40deg.C, fried in oil and seasoned with fruit powder after deoiling with a centrifugal separator.
