PURPOSE: A gripper for a crash pad of a vehicle is provided to exactly grip crash pad assemblies of various vehicle kinds modularized through a robot and to automatically supply the crash pad assemblies to the corresponding vehicle kind. CONSTITUTION: A gripper for a crash pad of a vehicle comprises a main frame(1) having plural slots(21); right and left adsorbing units(3,5) arranged to the ends of the main frame to adsorb both ends of a crash pad by the driving of adsorbing cylinders(23,25); a central adsorbing unit(7) mounted to a central side of the main frame through a bracket(27) to adsorb the central upper end of the crash pad; right and left grip units(9,11) installed to the ends of the main frame near the right and left adsorbing units in a state of sliding via rails(29,31) to the longitudinal direction to control the crash pad via tooling holes formed in the ends of the crash pas; a grip drive unit connected to the right and left grip units through connection bars(33,35), in the rear of the main frame to slide the right and left grip units through rack pinion drive by the operation of a gripping cylinder(37); and specification detection units(15) arranged to the ends of the main frame to detect a specification of the corresponding crash pad and output a signal to a controller.
