PURPOSE: An X-ray CT(computed tomography) imaging method and an X-ray CT system are provided to utilize, for a reconstruction of image, a distance linearly moved for acceleration or deceleration, from a total distance linearly moved during a helical scan. CONSTITUTION: An X-ray CT system comprises an X-ray tube(21), an X-ray detector(24), a scan unit, and an image reconstruction unit. The scan unit rotates at least one of the X-ray tube and the X-ray detector around an object of radiography such that the X-ray tube and the X-ray detector move relatively with each other and move linearly with respect to the object of radiography. The scan unit collects projection data during acceleration or deceleration of the linear movement. The image reconstruction unit creates CT images on the basis of the collected projection data.
