PURPOSE: A body frame apparatus for a vehicle is provided to prevent an accident by securing stable distribution of excess power through connection of mutual power transmission paths of two drive motors and having stability for breakage of a brake. CONSTITUTION: A body frame apparatus for a vehicle includes a hanger frame loading a vehicle body, and a driving unit arranged on a base frame(7) moving along an upper rail, to lift and lower the hanger frame. The driving unit comprises right and left drive motors(9,11) having built-in self-brake devices(13); right and left reducers(23,25) connected to each front rotating shaft(15,17) of the right and left drive motors; first, second, third, and fourth sprocket units(SU1¯SU4) each mounted to the front/rear and right/left edges of the base frame; and a power distribution connection shaft(49) distributing power between the motors interconnecting each rear rotating shaft(45,47) of the right and left drive motors. The right and left drive motors are horizontally installed in an opposed state on both sides of the base frame. The right and left reducers constitute first and second power transmission shafts(27,29), and third and fourth power transmission shafts(31,33) toward the front and rear in a direction perpendicular to the front rotating shaft of each drive motor. The first, second, third, and fourth sprocket units are connected to the first and second power transmission shafts, and the third and fourth power transmission shafts through a connection shaft(35) to receive the rotating driving force, and are connected to the hanger frame via chains(43).
