HARBOR UNLOADER AND METHOD THEREOF TO PREVENT THE LOSS OF A ROCKFALL BY COLLECTING THE ROCKFALL IN A ROCKFALL PREVENTION PLATE

PURPOSE: A harbor unloader and a method thereof are provided to prevent fallen rocks from being lost in a rockfall prevention plate by driving the rockfall prevention plate upward and downward through a controller. CONSTITUTION: A harbor unloader contains a fixing bracket(20), a link portion(60), a driving device(80), a locking device(90), a controller and a distance detection sensor(100). The fixing bracket is fixed in one side of a connection beam(10) to support the unloader and combined with a rockfall prevention plate(30). The link portion is combined with the lower part of the connection beam and connected with the rockwall prevention plate through a link combination. The driving device moves the rockfall prevention plate by rotating the link portion through the downward pushing or the upward pulling of the link portion. The locking device fixes the link portion while the rockfall prevention plate is raised. The controller indicates or control the driving device and the locking device automatically or manually according to an operator¡~s control. The distance detection sensor measures a distance between the rockfall prevention plate and a ship(1) and offers the distance to the controller to be stuck in a shear portion of the rockfall prevention plate and to locate the rockfall prevention plate apart from the ship. Thereby, the damage of the ship by the contact with the rockfall prevention plate is prevented.
