PURPOSE: An electronic control unit of an anti-lock brake system having surrounding equipments with an ASIC(Application Specific Integrated Circuit) is provided to reduce errors from noise, and to improve the reliability of the circuit by substituting individual elements with the ASIC. CONSTITUTION: An electronic control unit of an anti-lock brake system is composed of a control unit increasing or decreasing hydraulic pressure of the brake in rotating the wheel, and an individual peripheral device electrically connected to the electronic control unit to receive or transmit data to the electronic control unit to control the anti-lock brake system. The individual peripheral device is formed of an application specific integrated circuit(50), and the application specific integrated circuit is composed of a wheel speed counter(54) detecting the wheel speed of the vehicle and a wheel speed sensor error detecting module(51) detecting the opening or the short-circuit of the wheel speed sensor.
