DEVICE FOR OPENING AND CLOSING A SAFETY FOOTSTEP OF A DOOR IN A SUBWAY BY USING AN AIR CYLINDER

PURPOSE: A switching device of a safety footstep is provided to prevent the foot of the handicapped and the old and the weak including children from not being sunk into a gap between a platform and an electric train by utilizing an air cylinder. CONSTITUTION: A safety footstep(4) is installed between a platform(1) and a subway(2). The safety footstep to be stuck to a connection rod in a pinion gear and a rack is opened and closed by an air cylinder vertically. The pinion gear and the rack are embedded in a housing. The safety footstep is installed in the connection rod. The air cylinder to open and close the safety footstep is assembled in the housing and installed in the side of a subway. The operation method of the air cylinder is same as the operation method of a door in the subway.
