METHOD FOR DISPLAYING WORLD TIME IN A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION TERMINAL, SPECIFICALLY IN CONNECTION WITH DISPLAYING A CORRECT WORLD TIME WITHOUT CHANGING A TIME DIFFERENCE TABLE WHILE DISPLAYING AN EXACT WORLD TIME

PURPOSE: A method for displaying world time in a wireless communication terminal is provided to store time difference information and summer time information based on world times of world main cities at a time difference table, and to display an exact world time by using the time difference table and time information received from a base station. CONSTITUTION: A terminal receives information showing whether to apply a current time, a time difference, and a summer time system(401). If an operation/control device of the terminal receives a time display request signal for a specific city(402), the device calculates a world time(403), and extracts time difference and summer time information corresponding to the requested city(404), then calculates a standard time of the requested city by adding/subtracting the extracted time difference(405). The device reflects the extracted summer time information on the calculated standard time to calculate a current time of the city(406). The device outputs the calculated current time(407).
