PURPOSE: An orifice typed steam flux sensor is provided to maintain before affecting an operation by informing the leakage of a pressure pipe while maintaining an appropriate water level by detecting a water level change in a condensing chamber. CONSTITUTION: A transmitter(19) detects a pressure difference of a first and a second pressure pipe(20a,20b) and transmits an electric signal. A first and a second isolation valves(16a,16b) discharge small steam in front and behind an orifice(11) or isolate the discharge by installing in a pipe connected in front and behind the orifice of a steam pipe(16). The lower parts of a first and a second condensing chambers(31a,31b) is connected with the first and the second pressure pipe and the sides of the condensing chambers is connected with the isolation valves through a pipe. Water is filled in the lower parts of the condensing chambers. A first and a second condensed water catcher chambers(32a,32b) are integrally formed in the first and the second condensing chambers respectively. Condensed water supply members connected with the first and the second condensing chambers are formed in the first and the second condensed water catcher chambers. A first and a second valves for bending(34a,34b) are formed in the upper part of the first and the second condensed water catcher chambers. A third and a fourth isolation valves(35a,35b) supply or isolate the steam into the first and the second condensed water catcher chambers by forming in the pipe to connect the first and the second isolation valves with the first and the second condensed water catcher chamber. Thereby, the certain amount of water is maintained inside the condensing chambers or the pressure pipe without delaying or stopping a steam flux measurement.
