PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus comprising a plating solution spray nozzle for supplying and spraying a plating solution on a strip such that the strip is uniformly coated with the plating solution and a unit for protecting the spray nozzle such that the spray nozzle and the protecting unit are adequately operated according to operation circumstances to improve product quality and productivity and protect facility. CONSTITUTION: In an electroplating facility for plating the strip by spraying a plating solution onto the strip from a spray nozzle under the electrode roll while proceeding a strip through a deflector roll(103) and an electrode roll(101) on which anodes(104) are disposed, the apparatus for spraying the plating solution in a Carosel type electroplating pot comprises strip bending sensing parts(200) that is installed on the deflector roll and includes a surface detection roll(207), sensors(203) and sensor sensing bars(208); a nozzle driving part(300) by which the spray nozzle is vertically lifted and lowered, and which comprises a driving motor, screw shafts and a liftable and lowerable shaft that are operated by sensing signals of the sensors; and a nozzle protection part(400) installed around the spray nozzle and consisted of a driving motor, screw shafts operated by the driving motor, operators connected onto the screw shafts, and nozzle protection blocks and strip guide rolls that are moved to a position for covering an upper part of the spray nozzle on supports or a position for opening the upper part of the spray nozzle according to movements of the operators.
