METHOD FOR PROVIDING RECEIVER INFORMATION IN GROUP SMS TRANSMISSION, ESPECIALLY CONCERNED WITH ENABLING EACH GROUP RECEIVER TO CONFIRM INFORMATION ON THE OTHER GROUP RECEIVERS

PURPOSE: A method for providing receiver information in group SMS(Short Message Service) transmission is provided so that each group receiver can confirm information that a received short message is a group short message and information on the other group receivers who receive the same group short message. CONSTITUTION: The user of a transmitting MS(Mobile Station) inputs the contents of a group short message to be transmitted(301), and inputs information on more than two receivers(302). At this moment, the control part of the transmitting MS judges whether the user makes a choice to open the inputted receiver information(303). If the user makes a choice to open the inputted receiver information, the control part activates a receiver list open flag in the prepared group short message format(304). Then the control part transmits the group short message to the inputted group receivers(305).
