PURPOSE: An electron generator of a single cathode electron emission type discharge structure is provided to remove pollutants, such as nitride compounds, by generating electrons from cathode pins. CONSTITUTION: An electron generator for a single cathode electron emission type discharge structure includes a tube type housing, and a separate circuit portion. Air flows in one direction in the tube type housing. The separate circuit portion includes cathode pins(250), which are condensed into the housing and emit electrons to the air. The separate circuit portion is arranged on the housing. The separate circuit portion includes a step-up transformer(230), and a closed loop circuit portion(240). The step-up transformer raises a supply voltage. The closed loop circuit portion is electrically coupled with the step-up transformer to induce a closed loop for an anode line and an over-saturation state of electrons. The cathode pins are electrically coupled with the closed loop circuit portion.
