PURPOSE: An external air temperature display method of a vehicle is provided to show the temperature by setting a cooling time in starting to correct a value of an external air temperature sensor and to delay temperature display according to the temperature rise rate during starting. CONSTITUTION: An external air temperature display method of a vehicle is composed of steps for judging if a key of the vehicle is turned on(31); comparing the time for holding turn-off of the vehicle with the cooling time for removing the influence of temperature by the convection heat of a radiator(32); comparing a present temperature detected by an external air temperature sensor with the temperature of the external air that is memorized previously(33); setting the lower temperature of the present temperature and the pre-memorized external air temperature into a present external air display temperature(34); and checking the set external air display temperature through a display unit(S35).
