ABOVE-WATER CULTIVATION OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS BY CREATING IMPOUNDMENT AREA FOR RECEIVING WATER, FILLING WITH WATER, INTRODUCING CULTIVATION VESSEL INTO IMPOUNDMENT AND CULTIVATING SEEDLING

摘要

PURPOSE: A method of cultivation of agricultural products by creating an impoundment area for receiving water, filling with water, introducing the cultivation vessel containing seedlings into the impoundment and then cultivating seedlings. It enables production of agricultural products at low cost and high efficiency. CONSTITUTION: The cultivation of agricultural products is performed by the steps of: creating an impoundment area for receiving water by constructing an embankment(4) with a depth of 2 meters or more; constructing a concrete pavement; filling the impoundment with water from a water reservoir(12) using a water-lifting machine(5); sowing seeds in a seedling raising field(8) and transplanting seedlings into a cultivation vessel with a diameter of about 40cm and a length of about 20cm, introducing the cultivation vessel into the impoundment; and floating the cultivation vessel above the water and cultivating seedlings.
