A water supply tank (55) capable of storing water and provided with a flowerpot bearing portion (5) capable of mounting thereon a flowerpot (1) as a cultivation vessel and with a supply vessel installation portion (6) mounting thereon a supply vessel (42) is provided at an inner bottom thereof with a cylindrical holding portion (56). The holding portion (56) is formed at an inner peripheral surface thereof with a threaded portion (57), into which a threaded portion (43a) formed on an outer periphery of a mouth of a vessel body (43) of the supply vessel (42) made of a PET bottle can be threaded, and also is formed at one or more positions thereof with openings (58) comprised of holes or notches for communication between inside and outside thereof. Thus the water level in the water supply tank (55) lowers to open the openings (58) of the cylindrical holding portion (56) to the atmosphere, whereby the atmosphere enters the interior of the supply vessel (42) from the mouth thereof through the openings (58) to reach an upper part of the interior of the supply vessel (42), and then water in the supply vessel (42) flows into the holding portion (56) to flow into the water supply tank (55) through the openings (58) for supply, so that a water level in the water supply tank (55) rises to keep the openings (58) of the cylindrical holding portion (56) below the water surface to thereby stop supply of water to the water supply tank (55) from the supply vessel (42).
