PURPOSE: Provided are novel polythiol derivatives with four thiol reaction groups in one molecule with high content of sulfur which are used for producing urethane resin containing sulfur with showing high refraction index and favorable optical characteristics. CONSTITUTION: The novel polythiol compounds are represented by formula 1, in which Q is directly combined or selected from straight-chained or branch-chained alkyl group, benzyl group and C1-C6 phenyl group; R is selected from C1-C3 alkyl group; and n is an integer of 1-6. The urethane resin containing the polythiol compounds is polymerized to produce plastic lens.
