METHOD FOR RECORDING GREETINGS BY USING THE WEB AND A TELEPHONE TERMINAL DEVICE IN A UNIFIED MESSAGE SERVICE SYSTEM, SPECIALLY RELATED TO INTERACTING AMONG A WEB INTERFACE, A PBX, AND A FINAL SUBSCRIBER TERMINAL DEVICE, TO RECORD PERSONAL GREETINGS IN REAL TIME

摘要

PURPOSE: A method for recording greetings by using the web and a telephone terminal device in a UMS(Unified Message Service) system is provided to interface among a web interface, a PBX, and a final subscriber terminal device in a VMS(Voice Mail system) having a we-based management function or a UMS system, thereby recording personal greetings in real time. CONSTITUTION: By using a web browser of a PC connected to a UMS system(10), a user accesses a web-management/interface module(12) of the UMS system, and requests greetings to be recorded. The web-management/interface module(12) transmits the request to a call management module(13). The call management module(13) makes a call with a previously designated telephone number, and waits for the user's response. If the user's response is received, the call management module(13) sends a previously stored announcement to request the greetings to be recorded, and completes the procedure if the recording is terminated.
