COSMETIC COMPOSITION CONTAINING CAPSOSIPHON FULVESCENS EXTRACT AS EFFECTIVE INGREDIENT TO WHITEN SKIN AND REDUCE SKIN IRRITATION

PURPOSE: Provided is a cosmetic composition containing the extract of Capsosiphon fulvescens as an effective ingredient. The cosmetic composition inhibits human tyrosinase activity and melamine production. Therefore, it has excellent whitening and irritation-reducing effects on the skin. CONSTITUTION: The cosmetic composition contains 0.001 to 30.0% by weight of the extract of Capsosiphon fulvescens. It is obtained by extracting Capsosiphon fulvescens with a solvent selected from purified water, methanol, ethanol, glycerin, ethyl acetate, butylene glycol, propylene glycol, dichloromethane and hexane, mixing the extract with a film forming agent and then powdering with a spray drier. The composition is formulated into skin lotions, gels, water-soluble liquid, creams, essences, other O/W and W/O makeup formulations and O/W and W/O makeup bases, foundations, skin covers, lip sticks, lip glosses, face powders, two-way cakes, eye shadows, cheek colors and eyebrow pencils.
