PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for preventing inclusion related quality defects and preventing rephosphorization due to slag during production of extremely low phosphorus steel by sealing the inside of snorkel before degassing special steel or value added steel, thereby preventing slag from flowing into degassing vacuum vessel through the snorkel. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for preventing molten slag from flowing into a snorkel(3) used in degassing of molten steel contained in a teeming ladle(1), the apparatus for preventing slag from flowing into degassing vacuum vessel comprises a can inserting unit part comprising a driving cylinder(13) perpendicularly fixed to a central portion of a space part(4a) formed at one side of a turn table(4) on which the teeming ladle is mounted, and a lifting-and-lowering table(14) lifted and lowered in a part directly above the space part with being fixed to a shaft end of the driving cylinder; and corrugated cans(11) put on the lifting-and-lowering table of the can inserting unit part, consisted of a plurality of groove parts and projection parts distanced from each other in a certain gap, and curved parts defining the boundary between upper and lower portions of the cans, and inserted into the snorkel positioned above the cans when the lifting-and-lowering table is operated up and down.
