PURPOSE: A course control method of a dishwasher is provided to compensate for a turbidity detection error produced by product characteristic tolerance of a turbidity sensor and tolerance caused by pollution. CONSTITUTION: A course control method of a dishwasher comprises steps of supplying wash water to a predetermined water level according to a user's wash command(S10,S20); detecting first turbidity of the wash water supplied at a time of when water supply to the predetermined water level is completed and calculating a compensation constant by the first turbidity detected and predetermined second turbidity(S30,S40); executing preliminary wash and detecting third turbidity of the wash water circulating in the process of executing the preliminary wash(S50,S60); calculating course setting data by utilizing the calculated compensation constant and the second turbidity and the third turbidity(S70); and controlling a wash stroke according to the calculated course setting data value(S80¯S110).
