PURPOSE: A method for mass propagation of wild Korean ginseng plantlets and roots using bioreactor and use thereof are provided, thereby in vitro mass producing expensive wild Korean ginseng having improved efficacy by using biotechnology technique. CONSTITUTION: The method for mass propagation of wild Korean ginseng plantlets and roots using bioreactor comprises the steps of: cutting the tissue of wild Korean ginseng in the size of 2 to 5 mm, and culturing the cuttings on Murasige and Skoog agar medium containing auxin to induce embryogenic callus and somatic embryos; subculturing the embryogenic callus on Murasige and Skoog agar and broth medium containing 0.1 to 5 mg/l of 2,4-D at intervals of 2 to 4 weeks; culturing the subcultured callus in agar and broth medium without 2,4-D to induce somatic embryos; in vitro inducing the somatic embryos into the plantlets with the stem and root; antiseptically cutting the leaf, stem and root of the plantlets in the size of 2 to 5 mm, and culturing the cuttings on Murasige and Skoog agar medium containing auxin to induce embryogenic callus and somatic embryos; and repeating the tissue culture process.
