PURPOSE: A functional container for cultivating bean sprouts is provided, which emits far infrared rays and anions, has an antimicrobial function, and makes the bean sprouts grow fast. And a composition of the functional container is also provided. CONSTITUTION: The functional container for cultivating bean sprouts is produced by a method comprising the steps of: injecting 1-30wt% of at least two powders selected from monazite, smectite, and tourmaline having a size of 10-20 micrometer, 0.5wt% of butyl stearate as a dispersing softener solvent, 69.5-98.5wt% of a synthetic resin powder selected from polyethylene(PE), polypropylene(PP), or polyethylene terephthalate(PET), and a small amount of a curing agent and a pigment into a stirrer and heating and mixing; cooling the mixture to obtain a mixed synthetic resin; injecting the mixed synthetic resin into a catapult and catapulting at 170-200deg.C.
