PURPOSE: A construction method for the foundation of a charnel house is provided to make descendants visit frequently by keeping the surroundings of a charnel house clean by preventing a water leakage and dew condensation of a charnel house and removing odor and moisture in a charnel house, and to prevent the subsidence of a charnel house by executing the foundation work firmly and stably. CONSTITUTION: The construction method for the foundation of a charnel house comprises the steps of: forming an excavation(3) on the ground for constructing a charnel house(1); forming a lime layer(10) by spreading lime powder on the ground; forming a stone layer(20) by placing medium-sized stones on the lime layer(10); burying the stone layer(20) using a mixture layer(30) which is formed by mixing lime and soil, then tamping; forming a reinforcement layer(40) by binding up reinforcing bars on the mixture layer(30); forming a powdered limestone layer(50) by spreading powdered limestone; and forming a rough-stone layer(60) composed of rough-stone having the appointed thickness.
