ENGINE-OIL LEAKAGE WARNING DEVICE FOR PREVENTING VEHICLES FROM STARTING IF FOR THE LACK OF OIL CONTAINED IN AN OIL PAN WITH A SHIFT LOCKING LEVER AND AN OIL LEVEL GAUGE

PURPOSE: An engine-oil leakage warning device is provided to prevent breakdown of an engine caused by the lack of oil by inserting a shift locking lever into a hanging groove disposed at a detent plate. CONSTITUTION: An engine-oil leakage warning device is composed of a shift lever(30) for regulating RPM(Revolution Per Minute) of an engine of a vehicle installed with an automatic transmission; a shift locking lever(41) moving vertically along a guide rail(40) disposed in the middle of one side of the shift lever to stop the shift lever; a second solenoid valve(35) for operating the shift lock lever; an oil level gauge for measuring the amount of oil that is stored in an oil pan to lubricate and cool down the engine; and an ECU(Electronic Control Unit) for operating the second solenoid valve when the amount of the oil measured by the oil level gauge is below a reference value.
