PURPOSE: A front loading-type door opening/closing device of an optical disk player is provided to control an operation of an optical pickup unit and a loading motor, depending on whether a disk exists, if power is off by associating with an operation of a door opening/closing plate, so that the disk can be always located at a chucking position, thereby preventing door interference. CONSTITUTION: A door opening/closing unit opens/closes a disk port by being geared with a tilting operation of an optical pickup unit(46). The door opening/closing unit comprises as follows. An opening/closing plate(110) comprises a sliding hole(112) for pin coupling so to be linked with one section of the optical pickup unit(46), while a pierced hole is formed on a center. A hinge shaft(130) enables both sections of the opening/closing plate(110) to conduct a seesaw motion during the tilt operation in connection with the pierced hole of the opening/closing plate(110).
