METHOD FOR DISPLAYING CHARACTERS IN A MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL, SPECIALLY WITH REGARDS TO EXPANSIVELY DISPLAYING INPUTTED CHARACTERS, WORDS, AND SENTENCES

PURPOSE: A method for displaying characters in a mobile communication terminal is provided to set an expansive range and a display window, and to display expanded contents on the display window according to the set expansive range and the display window, so that a user can easily input and recognize characters. CONSTITUTION: If an expansive function setup is requested, a terminal supplies an expansive function setup menu, and sets an expansive range by receiving an expansive range setup item(S10,S12,S14). The terminal receives a display window item, and sets a display window for displaying expanded contents(S16). When characters are inputted, the terminal expands the inputted characters, and displays the expanded contents on the display window(S18,S20). The terminal decides whether the inputting of the characters, words, or sentences is completed(S22). If so, the terminal displays the characters, the words, or the sentences in standard size(S24).
