PURPOSE: Projection of trustworthiness from a trusted environment to an untrusted environment on a single computing device using multiple execution environments is provided to support the trustworthiness of an OS(Operating System) or the environment by offering a mechanism for projecting the trustworthiness of an entity in the trusted environment to the untrusted environment. CONSTITUTION: A system includes the untrusted environment, the trusted environment, at least one archangel(380) monitoring the untrusted environment and executed in the trusted environment, and multiple monitoring agents(390,395) executed in the trusted environment. Each monitoring agent monitors at least one application(305,310), extension, or component executed in the untrusted environment. Related to the application and judging attack and lack of consistency by monitoring the related application related, each monitoring agent projects the trustworthiness of the trusted environment to the untrusted environment.
