METHOD FOR STORING ABBREVIATED NUMBERS OF A MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL BY USING AN IMAGE AND A CALLING METHOD USING THE STORING METHOD, ESPECIALLY WITH REGARDS TO DOWNLOADING USER IMAGES TO MATCH THE IMAGES WITH USER TELEPHONE NUMBERS, AND STORING THE MATCHED NUMBERS AS ABBREVIATED NUMBERS

PURPOSE: A method for storing abbreviated numbers of a mobile communication terminal by using an image and a calling method using the storing method are provided to match stored user telephone numbers and registered abbreviated numbers with user images downloaded from other terminal, thereby easily finding user registration numbers. CONSTITUTION: When a menu key is inputted(S100), a user selects a photo phone menu(S101). The user confirms whether an image of a receiving terminal user is stored in an image storage(S102). If so, the user selects an image corresponding to the number written on a key button by pressing the key button(S107). If the selected image is displayed, the user inputs the telephone number and the name of a user corresponding to the image by using the key button(S108). The telephone number and the name are stored with a number where the image is stored, and are set as an abbreviated number(S109).
