PURPOSE: To provide a method for preparing an extrusion-molded honeycomb V2O6, which uses coal fly ash as a catalyst binder, and an extrusion-molded honeycomb V2O6-based catalyst prepared by the method, which has excellent mechanical strength and wear-resistance regarding dust contained in exhaust gas without lowering denitrification efficiency. CONSTITUTION: In a method for preparing a honeycomb catalyst for removing nitrogen oxides using ammonia as a reducing agent comprising a step of extrusion-molding TiO2-supported-V2O5, coal fly ash generated from a combustion process of a coal fired power plant is added in a range of 0.7-6.6 wt.% based on total weight of raw materials of the catalyst as a catalyst additive.
